I have worked with individuals and couples for over 35 years. Some of the problems I have helped clients to solve are: communication, infidelity, trouble with relatives, "falling out of love," selecting a mate, lack of commitment, parenting, pornography, verbal abuse, and blended families. I help individuals and couples to increase intimacy, build trust, and improve satisfaction with their relationships. I also see clients for mental health issues, such as: bipolar, anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD (child & adult), and OCD. I describe myself as a Christian Counselor. PersonalIy, I seek to live a biblical lifestyle through faith in Jesus Christ.

I've been working in the field of addiction and codependency with adolescents and adults since I began practicing 10 years ago. Since then I found through the use of 12 step work, along with continuous therapy, individuals, couples, and families saw the change they were seeking. My ideal client is an adolescent or young adult who is struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma. I also collaborate with clients who have eating disorders or struggle with body image. I offer psychotherapy in Texas through Zoom. Or I see clients in Lubbock in person. I aim to exceed client's expectations for a full and productive life. My personal approach is to practice radically open acceptance of my client through validation, while also expecting change and personal growth. This is particularly important for individuals who have intense emotions with ineffective coping skills.
