I work predominantly with adults ages 21-81. About 20% of my practice consists of families or couples. Common themes for therapy are family conflict, romantic relationships or lack of, chronic illness, anxiety and depression.

I work with highly sensitive, empathic individuals - creatives, therapists, teachers, social activists and healers. If you want to heal family of origin or painful childhood memories OR you seek better communication and coping skills > Let's start! Sessions include safe space, skillful questions, and a CBT approach - along with mindfulness, creativity, and nature-based practices. Each session begins with a short breath practice (optional). Looking for a different, more personal therapy experience, here it is ! I work collaboratively with you and your child/adolescent/family to develop a plan together on the second session, get a new skill each week, and see progress within 8 sessions. With 28 of years experience with children, adolescents and adults recovering from trauma,grief, emotional or behavioral challenges with educational or work-related issues in schools, group homes, rural health care clinics and military facilities. Sessions are online with a confidential platform to offer convience and accessibility to any location in South Carolina.

My ideal clients are teens or adults who want learn tools for long term happiness. Issues I enjoy treating are substance use, binge eating, grief, loss, trauma, relationship issues, marriage counseling, anxiety and depression. For success, I provide judgement free space and unconditional positive regard, mixed with some humor and direction.
