I have a long-term interest in treating people in crisis and working with those suffering from a traumatic experiences. Couples also come to find ways to rebuild relationships. I also work with parents to help them resolve behavioral problems.

I work solely with adults over the age of 35. It takes courage to engage in the psychotherapy process. I believe that therapy can have healing and growthful effects on peoples' lives and that emotional health significantly contributes to physical health and well-being. Facing stress, pain and trauma can be scary and I feel fortunate and honored to be able to work with people at difficult and painful times in their lives. I greatly respect the growth process that comes with the work of psychotherapy. I view the relationship between patient and psychologist as collaborative and largely driven by the expressed needs of the patient.

I work to achieve this by focusing my sessions on a person centered approach to therapy. Whether you are struggling with life transitions, mood disturbances or past trauma, my goal is to meet you where you're at and help guide you to where you want to be.

My clients often come to me looking for peace and rebalance after a difficult and sometimes traumatic experience. They are looking for a safe place to unpack everything that has happened and piece it all back together in a way that creates meaningfulness out of the chaos. Often, I work with the whole family structure, as we rarely experience anything purely individually. That might look like helping partners rediscover their feelings for each other or reestablishing appropriate roles and boundaries between partners or parents and their children. Sometimes it is helping those families restructure after a big life change or event.

I have been working with children, family, and adults since 2014. I enjoy working with behavioral modification modalities and helping people through trauma as well as life stressors. I am currently accepting new adult patients and I offer virtual sessions. I do have some appointment times open outside of normal business hours. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, family issues, substance use disorders, and bipolar disorder. I use modalities such as CBT, motivational interviewing, and acceptance and commitment therapy. I am DBT informed.
