Welcome! I'm Corrianne, a compassionate and experienced Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) based in New Jersey. My journey includes impactful roles such as traumatic brain injury specialist, school counselor, and a certification in Reiki Level 1, providing a unique blend of therapeutic expertise. In my diverse background, I've supported individuals of all ages, from K-12 students dealing with various challenges to adults facing severe and persistent mental health conditions. My passion lies in aiding those with high-risk tendencies (SI/SIB), disabilities, and trauma, fostering positive relationships and providing crisis management.

Dr. Couvadelli is an adult and pediatric Neuropsychologist/Psychologist with areas of expertise in clinical neuropsychology, cognitive rehabilitation and health psychology. Dr. Couvadelli obtained her PhD in Behavioral Medicine with a focus on Cognitive Neuroscience. She completed an internship in clinical psychology/neuropsychology, a fellowship in cognitive rehabilitation, and a three-year postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology. Dr. Couvadelli has served as the head of Pediatric Neuropsychology at JFK Medical Center, NJ and she holds the appointment of Assistant Professor of Neuroscience at Seton Hall University School of Health/Medical Sciences.

After receiving my Ph.D. from the University of Maryland, I worked as a psychologist at a variety of settings in Maryland, New York, Connecticut and New Jersey. Prior to opening this independent practice, I spent 10 years working at Integrated Behavioral Care (IBC), a group practice in Summit, New Jersey. Before joining IBC, I spent 20 years in charge of psychological services at Morristown Medical Center's Atlantic Rehabilitation Institute. I have also been an adjunct assistant professor at New York University, and have taught at the Washington School of Psychiatry in Washington, DC.

The Counseling Center at Clark offers a substance abuse Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Outpatient Program (OP) that combines evidence-based, state of the art treatment with 12 Step principles. Our substance abuse programs are designed for individuals struggling with remaining abstinent from the use of alcohol and drugs. The program we offer is focused on the individual and is designed to enable sober and productive living.

I provide neuropsychological evaluations for the purpose of: Identifying issues that impact learning (such as, problems with attention, reading, writing and mathematics), Identifying an intellectual disability or intellectual giftedness, Diagnosing neurodevelopmental disorders (such as Autism Spectrum Disorder), and diagnosing neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer's Disease and other dementias.

Drawing on this experience, she is currently serving as a private practitioner, helping her clients gain stability in their lives by better managing life's challenges, thereby creating the ability to identify distorted thinking and beliefs.
