I provide individual therapy, to adolescents and adults, as well as couples and family therapy. I believe that the focus of therapy is the achievement of insight and both intra- and inter-personal growth. This means different things to different people and families, so I actively involve you in the direction of your therapy and will check in often to make sure that your needs are being met. I trained as a generalist and pull from a variety of therapeutic approaches, including interpersonal process, insight-oriented, and cognitive-behavioral.

I am a counselor that values the depth of human relationships. I use a variety of therapeutic interventions that can be summarized as somatic and attachment focused, relational, and mindful. All of these interventions are built off of the idea of present moment awareness. This means that I use each moment as potential for awareness into your inner experience. I spend time assisting each client in expanding their window of tolerance for discomfort as well as developing tools and techniques for structural changes. I am experienced working with general mental health concerns as well as what people identify as trauma and PTSD.

Ginger completed her MSW degree at East Tennessee State University where she was in the Advanced Standing Master's Program. I have a treasure chest of methods that I can teach you to quickly and effectively open a more satisfying life by focusing on your needs in the present. I also can help those who are grieving losses to learn how to carry their loved ones' spirit and connection into the future without debilitating their daily lives.
