The therapeutic journey is often a hard one to begin, but once started can be the most rewarding in life. It is one I have practiced both personally and professionally for over 30 years. I provide telehealth individual, couples and family therapy to a wide and varied demographic in an open and affirming approach. My practice is meant to be safe and accessible. Our recent world pandemic prompted many changes - a primary one was the ease and acceptability of connecting virtually. As a result my private practice is now entirely virtual, and I see clients on a secure, confidential platform with flexible hours.

I believe that healing requires a sacred environment that is free of judgment. The therapeutic process is a collaborative endeavor in which I assist clients in clarifying actionable goals for treatment. I use a varied methodical approach, as therapy is not a cookie cutter science. I draw from a variety of interventions, holistic practices and methodologies to create a tailored approach for each individual and situation. I offer an intuitive, warm, open, encouraging, and direct attitude. I consider myself an active therapist, combining experience, education, creativity, and sense of humor with a down-to-earth, realistic approach.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist (Ph.D.), passionate about my work with children/adolescents, adults, couples, and families. In addition to my private practice, I am an Adjunct Professor who teaches doctors in the Emory University School of Medicine. As a former Division I Athlete and US National Team Member, I believe that one of the bravest things we can do is learning how to love ourselves through the process of owning our own storying. Often times the first brave step is just reaching out. Society tends to view therapy as something you need if you have “failed” on your own.
