Solomon Zaraa, DO is board-certified in both General Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. He has expertise in medication management in all mental health disorders including ADHD, behavioral disorders, depression and other mood disorders, anxiety, panic, PTSD and other trauma-related conditions, and autism.

I offer comprehensive assessment services for ADHD. I also provide comprehensive assessment services to rule out other explanations for attention challenges such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder.

I am passionate about trauma, depression, anxiety, LGBQT concerns, personality disorders, and neurodivergence. An ideal client is an individual who has a growth mindset and explores their thoughts and feelings and how they impact their behavior. They may not understand how those thoughts derived from past experiences, but they are willing to open old wounds given the right tools. They feel safe and secure and want to heal through hard work and determination.

At Cogmotion Learning, my mission is to provide specialized psychoeducational assessments, comprehensive executive function training/coaching, Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs), and gifted identification testing. By conducting personal interviews and assessments, I equip students with essential skills for academic success and overall well-being, including improving attention, time management, resilience, organizational skills, task initiation, and flexible coping mechanisms. My clients are often referred for an evaluation related to a legal or work situation, including an injury, divorce, or criminal offense. I am comfortable working with clients who have highly complex issues involving a combination of psychiatric and medical symptoms with or without a compounding legal situation.
