I am a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist, I studied at Cameron University and received a master's in behavioral science in psychology, and a BA in communications from Georgia Southern University. I have been counseling clients since 2011. Prior to becoming a therapist I was an active duty soldier in the United States Army. The army provided exposure to many cultures and adversity. I departed from the army and became involved in military programs while supporting my active duty husband in his service. I was an advocate for the unit's family readiness group which led me to pursue a career in psychology.

My focus is to help my clients to heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. At Southern Bridge Counseling, we hope to achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan.

I am a Southern Girl from New Orleans, licensed in Georgia and DC with 28 years of professional social work experience. I am also a US Army Veteran who served in the First Iraq War (Desert Storm 1991). Others have shut down in the form of depression or paralyzing anxiety. Essentially the ways of handling life’s stressors are no longer effective, and in these moments we need help.
