I have over 22 years of experience as a psychotherapist, practicing in various settings. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in both the State of Florida and New York, having earned two Master's degrees from Long Island University. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults, families and couples. I hold certifications in several treatment modalities including Brain Paint (Neurofeedback), Beautiful Me (self-esteem program for teens), Nature Informed Therapy, mindfulness and trauma resolution. I take a holistic approach to healing that helps to uncover the root cause of non-productive thoughts, feelings and behaviors.

I have more than 15 years of experience working with children and adolescents with a wide range of mental health concerns, such as ADHD, trauma, abuse, adoption/foster care, depression, anxiety, behavioral issues, and Autism, just to name a few. I use techniques such as play therapy, art therapy, and traditional talk therapy with my clients, based on their age and preferences.

Dr. Emily Roff at Autism Family Coach helps families with a child, or loved one, with autism, across the life span. She provides guidance, coaching, training and advocacy for families navigating the complex world of autism. Families who may especially benefit are those who have concerns of early signs of autism; who need guidance on how to get an autism diagnosis; and/or who have a recent diagnosis and are looking for next steps, resources, and home- and school-based strategies. Additionally, families with other developmental disabilities may also benefit from working with Dr. Roff when strategizing IEP & school-based issues.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, my professional interests and clinical experience focus on relationship issues, family and parenting challenges, work-life balance; stress, anxiety and mood management; self-esteem, and grief counseling.
