I have been in private practice in the Denver area for over 25 years. I have worked extensively with older adolescents, adults, couples, families and groups. Issues addressed include anxiety, depression, grief, loss, divorce, single parenting, career, relationship difficulties, and life transitions, among others. My approach to treatment is varied, depending on the need of the client.

My belief is that when you build a strong alliance with your therapist, you create a really positive experience for the therapeutic process. I strive to create a safe positive place for adolescents to share their thoughts and feelings and learn new ways to work with conflict and setbacks they might be facing right now. Adolescents are having a hard time with all of the social distancing requirements and remote learning this often leads to anxiety, depression, and substance use. which then results in not completing school work. This is a hard time for families and it truly does affect the whole family.
