It is a goal of mine to provide accessible, pleasure-centered sex and relationship care to the LGBTQIA+ community, with specific focus on queer and non-monogamous relationship structures.
We are evolving people living at the intersections of multiple identities. To discover our own power within our identities, we have an opportunity to learn more about who we are and how we relate. Whether it’s exploring your grief within a loss or learning new skills in improving your intimate relationships, I strive to provide equitable care, which includes considering how structural racism and racial identity impacts the wellness of individuals. I would love to learn more about your story.

I approach each therapeutic relationship differently and treat each client as a unique individual.
Let me commend you on your courage to seek out help. Beginning therapy can be difficult. Although people seek therapy for different reasons, I find that all of my clients want their feelings and experiences to be heard, validated and accepted. My therapeutic approach can best be described as warm, supportive and free of judgement. I guide clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, often revealing underlying patterns and triggers. Through self-discovery, they gain insight into the root causes of their suffering, empowering them to overcome obstacles.

While I consider myself a relationship expert by education, I am not naïve enough to believe I am the expert on you or your relationship.
If you are looking for ways to help you learn better ways to communicate your feelings and opinions without unnecessarily arousing the defenses of others, heal from past emotional injuries, develop better individual relationship habits, and learn more about yourself in the process, I’m the therapist for you. If you want to break the cycle of bad relationships in your life, let’s work together to give you the skills you need to be a better partner, peer, parent, or child. I will show you how to communicate in a way that enables you to require that you be treated with respect while making it very easy for others to do so.

Relationship Issues Therapists
While need for human connection appears to be innate, the ability to form healthy, loving relationships is learned. Some evidence suggests that the ability to form a stable relationship starts to form in infancy, in a child's earliest experiences with a caregiver who reliably meets the infant's needs for food, care, warmth, protection, stimulation, and social contact. Such relationships are not destiny, but they are theorized to establish deeply ingrained patterns of relating to others. The end of a relationship, however, is often a source of great psychological anguish.
