Throughout my career, I have probably worked with every single situation in the counseling field. I have worked inpatient, outpatient, and telepatient. I have worked in prisons, jails, psychiatric hospitals, IDD facilities, community MHMR, and community counseling centers. My specialties include drug and alcohol addiction, trauma, major depression, bipolar, schizophrenia, anxiety, stress, marital problems, anger management, and people with LGBTQ issues.

As a psychologist with over 30 years experience, I have particular interest in working with individuals with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, college and work stress, phase of life issues, gay/lesbian struggles, marital/divorce problems and general relationship issues. My expertise has allowed me to be highly effective in quickly understanding the needs of my patients, to help facilitate an effective treatment plan. Generally, individuals begin to feel better with progress often seen after a few visits. The length of time spent in treatment will be mutually agreed upon, based on the presenting problem and its complexity.

Meredith uses a therapeutic approach to work with you as a partner to help you achieve your goals and make your relationships stronger. She is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas with a diverse background working with adults suffering from acute and chronic mental health disorders, the geriatric population and others with chronic medical conditions, as well as clients in crisis or having difficulty coping with stressful changes in their lives.

My ideal clients are motivated to change unhealthy behaviors and patterns. My favorite clients are teenagers and young adults who are seeking better lives. I have a specialty in multicultural issues and am able to provide Spanish speaking treatment as needed. I work with most emotional disorders, including depression, anxiety, and behavior change.

Her broad experience ranges from psychotherapy with individuals, couples, adolescents and geriatrics. She also has experience as a mentor and life coach with individual clients and has been able to help them find their full potential. With over 18 years experience she is a seasoned clinician with real life experience.
