As queer women, we often have more challenges to navigate than others and sometimes we need extra support. I can provide you with that support. I work with queer women who are struggling with feelings of stress, relationships concerns, dating, anxiety, parenting, marriage, depression, & frustration. I also help people struggling with ADHD and with grief/loss. I am a doctoral level psychologist & have graduated & trained in programs accredited by the American Psychological Association.

Everyone deserves a safe space. Our aim at All-1-Family is to provide a safe space for all persons, but in particular, LGBT+ identified persons in the Atlanta metro area to simply, be.

My goal to to assist people in finding a way forward from their distress and pain. Stressful and/or traumatic events can result in extreme anxiety that leads to isolation from your family and friends and withdrawal from what you used to enjoy. I would like to work with you to decrease that anxiety, increase your engagement with the world and nurture your relationships with others. This is done by teaching you new habits, experiences counter to stressful/trauma ones, and examining how you think about your life.

You do not have to have lived through something literally life-threatening to be a trauma survivor. If you didn't get your basic or emotional needs consistently met during infancy and early childhood, you likely struggle in your adult relationships. You might be overly clingy, avoidant, or self-sabotaging with your friendships and romantic partners. Or maybe, for you, it shows up as anxiety, avoidance, dissociation, low self-worth, poor boundaries, and even self-destructive behaviors. This is called complex trauma or attachment-based trauma, and it can be healed!

Thank you for considering my approach to healing! I work with clients from diverse backgrounds to address sex therapy related issues (i.e. sexual "dysfunction," enhancement of pleasure, sexual identity development, etc.) and trauma related to interpersonal violence, attachment wounds, and systemic oppression. I work predominantly with sex workers, queer and trans clients, kink clients, polyamorous clients, and community organizers. Ultimately, I am passionate about helping all clients expand their view of what is possible for their lives and let go of shame.

When you need support, guidance, and a safe place in which to heal or to process the many stressors of these challenging times, it is important that you find a loving, insightful and highly trained therapist that feels right for you. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, practicing in the Atlanta area since 2006. Well, where do I began...I have been working in this field for over 13, years consistently. I have had the pleasure of being trained by amazing people in three different settings to include residential, nonprofit, and community based. I have been working with children as young as 4, years of age, to adulthood. For the past few years I have been working with children who have been victims of sexual exploitation and trafficking as well as LGBTTQQIAAP, teens and adults over the past few years. Helping others has always been my passion, so I made it my business to provide quality services to assist others in their time of need.

I specialize in child centered play therapy with young children ages 2-7 and person centered counseling for adults 20-40. I help clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, neurodivergence, gender and sexual identity exploration, suicide, coping with oppression, and adjusting to life changes. In my office I offer clients a warm and supportive therapeutic environment where issues can be successfully addressed and resolved. But it is only with the client's effort and desire to change that psychotherapy is most successuful. Through the years I have found that a direct approach in therapy is most valuable as it allows us both to target those beliefs and behaviors which may require change.

I have 32 years of counseling experience. I blend Spiritual (when requested) and Clinical Counseling. Many spiritual people across America are confused about where to go for counseling. My husband of 30 years and I have traveled the world with many religions. I have 2 Bachelors, 2 Master of Divinity Degrees, a Post-Masters in Hospital & Hospice Chaplaincy, and a PsyD. in Psychology. I was a Chaplain intern, resident or taught religious programs at many Atlanta hospitals. I am a HIV/AIDS, cancer and bereavement specialist.
