I am a Latina immigrant, a native Spanish speaker, and a naturalized United States Citizen since 1987. After learning English, I graduated from The University of Georgia, undergraduate and graduate school, with the highest academic honors. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 35 years of education and practical experience which are the foundation of my clinical practice.

Hello and welcome, I am so glad you are here! My name is Martin and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. My life experiences have left me with particular interest in working alongside individuals with depression, anxiety, adhd, those going through life transitions, LGBTQIA2S+ individuals, and supporting people who have experienced trauma.

Asking for help takes courage. As a therapist, my goal is to help my clients feel hopeful & gain a positive outlook on their lives. I provide clients with a safe environment to express themselves without judgement. I am a licensed clinical social worker (in both GA & NY), Certified Trauma Therapist & Anger Management Specialist. I've been trained in play therapy using sand tray & activity-based mindfulness for children. I was born in Brooklyn, NY. Growing up in a diverse community helped me see the importance of being a culturally competent therapist which enhances quality of care.

I am a Therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP-I). My view: the ultimate goal is to be happy and content with your life whether it's your relationships, your work, or any aspect of your life. Whether people are starting out or starting over, it can be overwhelming. I help my clients get through these somewhat difficult times and obstacles that we all encounter in life.
