Hello! I moved to Colorado 7 years ago from the upper Midwest. I am proud to say I have an eclectic experience when it comes to counseling. I started off as a postgraduate career counselor then moved on to school counseling (elementary and high school) then therapy with both parolees and inmates in one of the state prisons. From there I have put a focus on working with clients and couples who suffer from depression, anxiety, personality disorders, gender identity, and concerns related to intimacy and sex.

My specialty for nearly a decade has been gender and sexuality variances in children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. I also see adults with unconventional relationships and sexual identities or preferences. From my background in Somatic Counseling/Body Psychotherapy, I make use of my own body, and body-based (a.k.a. somatic) tracking, applied moment-to-moment in the room with clients. Sometimes this is as simple as noticing the breath, or bringing attention (and other options) to bear when something shifts. There are also many extensive toolboxes of potential somatic interventions that expand the range, and the richness, of what a session together may include.
