Santoro Psychological Services has been providing psychological services to the community since 2008. We have a dedicated staff with a number of different specializations. Our staff provides a variety of therapeutic and forensic services including individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults; parent training; Gottman-trained couples' counseling; court-ordered psychological evaluations; custody evaluations; psychological and educational testing for school-aged students; and expert-witness testimony.

I am a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) with years of experience working with teens, couples, and adults who are struggling with anxiety, anger issues, parenting difficulties, depression, chronic stress, relationship issues, and pregnancy-related concerns. My ideal client is motivated to learn more about themselves, open to self-reflection, willing to engage in the therapeutic process, and committed to making positive changes in their lives. Additionally, they are motivated to work on their issues, have good communication skills, and are willing to be honest and vulnerable in the therapeutic relationship.

Accepting New Clients: It is often a challenge for someone to make the first step and seek out mental health services. I am cognizant of that and provide my clients with a safe, and non judgmental space. I accept adolescent and adult clients, providing individual and family therapy. My areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, ADHD, relationship issues and personality disorders.

I am an individual therapist . I have experience working with adolescents and adults whose needs include depression, anxiety, interpersonal relationships, family conflict, physical/sexual/emotional abuse and substance abuse. I use cognitive behavioral, mindfulness and solution focused techniques in treatment to help identify client strengths, obstacles to recovery and short term and long term goals for treatment.

By listening to people and paying attention to what develops, I collaboratively assist them to understand feelings, thoughts, body experiences, and behaviors. This may remove barriers to living life to the full. We often create these barriers early in life and then continue them through habitual thought, feeling-management, and relationship patterns. Healing occurs in a safe, new kind of relationship. Within this relationship, people may recognize things they have known and not known. Those who openly share their thoughts, feelings, and experiences (including a hesitation to share certain things) are often able to make progress.

I specialize in pediatric and health psychology and work with children, adolescents, young adults, and their parents. I see clients with mood concerns such as anxiety, depression, and adjustment issues. I also work with clients experiencing stress related to medical conditions such as cancer, blood disorders, pain, sleep, injury or rehabilitation, heart conditions, GI, diabetes, fertility challenges, and other various health problems.

We offer clients a safe space to discover, explore, and process. Christlyn has special skills with trauma work and art therapy. Sheena uses Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Rachel uses a strengths-based, collaborative approach, and especially works with grief, and women's issues.
