I am a Licensed Professional Counselor by the state of New Jersey with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field in community agencies, school systems and private practice. I offer therapy services to adults, children and adolescents. I strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment and employ a variety of strategies depending on clients' needs, with an emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and play therapy.

I am sensitive and empathetic and value the professional relationship I can build with clients. By listening to the client tell me about their lives, I strive to help the client understand their feelings better. Understanding that each journey is unique, I employ a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to individual needs, with a particular focus on Mindfulness, Meditation, and a Strengths-Based approach. My goal as a therapist is to help you learn more about yourself and come up with ways to overcome these obstacles - ways that actually work. I utilize various modalities, but Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) are the modalities I most frequently draw from. I believe that not all therapeutic modalities work for everybody, and as such, I adapt according to my clients' needs. I have experience working with children over 8, teenagers, and adults.

While pursuing his doctorate in clinical psychology, he completed an externship at the Rutgers College Counseling Center where he worked with college students and spent two years at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies in New York City where he received psychoanalytic training and supervision in individual psychodynamic psychotherapy. Jeff is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has a permit to practice psychology in NJ.

Greetings! I have been in practice with Staten Island patients for over 40 years and have expanded my practice into Middlesex Co., NJ. I am only doing tele-therapy sessions. The problem areas that I have worked most with are marital, anxiety based and depression cases. I work with individuals and couples. I have catered to a middle class, mostly civil service clientele. I work closely with Police, Fire Fighters, Teachers, etc. It is my priority and responsibility to see that you are comfortable in the therapy session. That is my job! I utilize most insurances.
