Parenting is a challenging endeavor in the most ideal of circumstances, but parenting children with learning problems, disruptive behaviors, social skills deficits, or emotional disturbance can tax even the most well-informed parent. There are many effective ways to parent children and my goal is to provide evaluation and treatment approaches that allow you to parent your child based on your own values while using the most healthy and effective strategies. For those children already in treatment, I can collaborate with the child's therapist and/or physician to provide evaluations that help to clarify diagnosis and treatment needs.

I am happy to share that I have recently founded Central Arkansas Testing & Therapy Center. You could consider me local to the central Arkansas area. I enjoy working with the community where I pretty much grew up. After graduating from UCA in 2009, I completed a master of arts degree in clinical psychology from Forest Institute in 2012. Over the last 10 years, I have worked with those experiencing depression, grief/loss, life adjustments, and LGBTQ specific issues.

Rachel Allen is a Licensed Psychological Examiner with over 15 years of experience. She specializes in assessment and diagnosis of children, adolescents, and young adults from preschool through college. Rachel has a passion for advocacy and equal opportunities for the growth of all individuals regardless of their challenges. She has extensive experience with evaluation in clinical, educational, and research settings. She enjoys helping parents and young adults advocate for educational rights so the scholar can grow and develop to the best of their abilities.

Conway Counseling & Wellness Center is a group private practice of practitioners with specialties in mental health and wellness including psychiatry. Our treatment is holistic and incorporates traditional counseling with wellness services such as art therapy, yoga therapy, hypnotherapy, mindfulness, and massage. A client with anxiety could benefit from individual counseling, family therapy, yoga, and massage. Another client working to minimize an addiction could receive individual and group counseling, yoga for 12 step recovery, and hypnotherapy.
