I graduated from University of IL – Champaign/Urbana in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, and earned my secondary degree, Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology at Argosy University. With over 20 years of healthcare experience, in both corporate and private settings, I have been in clinical practice for 10+ years. I have worked with adolescents and adults in an individual capacity, as well as family and marital therapy, and specializes in treating anxiety and depression.

Many people are not sure where to turn when they need help with emotional issues, but we’re here to provide a number of options. We pay attention from your very first contact with our office. My overarching goal for any of my clients is to have an improved life, in whatever area that they are seeking to manage and improve.

I know it’s often really hard to choose a therapist. To make it easier, I would be glad to speak with you on the phone for 15 minutes to discuss whether we might be a good match. I am only doing Telehealth including video so I can see anyone who lives in Illinois I work mainly with adults and see individuals and couples. If you are depressed or anxious, I would be glad to help you feel better. I also help people with eating disorders and Body Dysmorphic Disorder. I am on many EAP Panels and I take most insurance. I have been in practice for over 30 years and feel that I'm best at dealing with individuals with anxiety, depression and relationship issues. The goal of all my work is to help individuals live up to their full potential. I have an expertise with numerous techniques to accomplish this goal. Traditional insight-oriented, cognitive/behavioral therapy, interpersonal therapy and specialty techniques such as hypnotherapy, biofeedback and relaxation training are just a few of the interventions I use.

I start with a thorough assessment of your current concerns. I take a broad-minded, non-judgmental approach to understanding what you are looking for help with. I try to be helpful by offering feedback and new perspectives and insights. I understand that you have probably already attempted several ways to address your concerns and by now you are most likely frustrated and worried. I will take a proactive and positive approach to your participation by helping you identify your personal strengths and assets that you can then use to develop a new and better response to your concerns.

As a Humanist, I believe that people are always striving to succeed, but at times are blocked by fears, doubts and loss of clear identity.
