Hello, my name is Lorraine Hellman Robertson but I go by Rainey. I am a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) in Montana, Colorado (LPC), Texas (LPC), and Florida (telehealth only TPMC524). My goal is to establish quality relationships with my clients in order to resolve issues such as destructive anger, depression, trauma, anxiety, PTSD, and C-PTSD. I can help resolve relational issues between spouses, parents and children or extended family members. EMDR is a powerful tool to help breakthrough negative cognitions due to trauma.

With younger children, I understand that it may be harder to communicate their feelings with words and play therapy can be used to more effectively explore their thoughts. My hope is to create a therapeutic relationship to guide the client toward positive coping skills and start leading more enriching lives. I believe that each client has the ability and the capacity within themselves to become empowered and thrive.

As a former football coach, I have developed an approach to therapy that will allow me to utilize coaching concepts to address the needs of my clients.
