As a Counselor and Art Therapist, I work with clients and their support systems to achieve a state of health and wellness. You may have done therapy previously, or this may be your first time, but either way I will walk you through every step of this process providing education, support, warmth, and encouragement. I believe that all of us know what we need in our lives, and we are all capable of achieving our goals, but at times we may need new tools and a consistent encouraging support system to make progress.

Melissa Morton is a Licensed Independent Social Worker who has over ten years of experience working with individuals seeking help with anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief and loss, relationship issues, and life transitions. She received her Bachelor's degree from Brown University and her Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California. She specializes in treating children and adolescents coping with academic, social, and emotional stressors, young adults facing coming-of-age transitions, and adults adapting to their changing environment and coping with life’s many challenges.

I am a Licensed Social Worker. I have worked with a variety of client populations including children, adolescents and adults. Areas of treatment have been, but are not limited to, trauma and stressor related disorders, anxiety, depression, work/life balance, interpersonal relationship issues, self-esteem, grief/loss, self-harm and suicidality.

As a mental health professional, I’ve worked in the field of psychology for many years. I have experience with children, adolescents, and adults. I specialize in trauma recovery, grief/bereavement, personality disorders, anxiety related disorders, mood disorders, relationship difficulties and obsessive-compulsive disorders. I’m a life-long learner and I support in a wholistic approach to mental health wellness. I also support that we are all much more than just the sum of our parts. I’m extensively trained in the psychodynamic, existential - humanistic, and cognitive behavioral schools of psychological thought.

I am a very seasoned therapist, wisdom through the learning and training and experiences I have created. I am trained in both evidenced therapies of EMDR I and II and Prolonged Exposure Therapy as well as Cognitive Processing for Insomnia. My early training is combining psychodynamic therapy and existential roots to look at the entire person and work with you from where you are and where you would like help getting. I had much work with adolescents and families as well as couples and LGBT community. My want is to create a trusting relationship with you to foster growth.

Jessica Horvat (pronouns: she/her) is a seasoned licensed independent clinical social worker who works with adults, adolescents, and couples. Her areas of specialty include: life transition issues, LGBTQA+ issues, anxiety, and women’s issues. She has a strong commitment to providing inclusive and affirming care using evidence-based treatment approaches.

I work with children, adolescents and adults. With children and adolescents, I do individual treatment and family consultation. The issues I work with include developmental concerns and adjustment problems, e.g., socialization, loss, divorce. I reinforce my work with children by strengthening parenting skills. I collaborate with schools as needed. My work with adults and the elderly includes life cycle issues, stress, depression and anxiety.

My foundation in therapy has always been working with children, teens, families and women's mental health. Each person is unique, and each situation is different. My purpose is to help you design a plan to address whatever it may be that you are wanting to work on. I love to incorporate different methods and approaches such as bringing in art interventions, games, music, reading to accompany traditional treatment perspectives.
