In order to recover, you need to know what you are recovering from. As a person in recovery myself, I have both personal and professional experience to help those desiring help with untreated addiction and/or unresolved trauma. My work with co-occurring disorders including mental health, substance abuse and trauma started in a hospital on the Dual Diagnosis unit then grew into working as a trauma therapist and from there, working as both a residential and IOP therapist at a treatment center for chemical dependency and eating disorders. Being in recovery gives me the insight and perspective in which to help you with your journey.

I believe that intervention is one of the most effective ways to help someone suffering from alcoholism, substance abuse, eating disorders or other process addictions, such as gambling, internet, or sex addiction.
