Hi, I'm Emily! I currently have a short waitlist, but my practice is accepting new clients. I am someone that is dedicated to my work and truly enjoys forming therapeutic relationships with others. I believe the therapist-client relationship is the key to healing in therapy. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I examine the entire system to support clients in realizing how their relationships, habits, and environments can affect their mental health in both negative and positive ways. My goal as your therapist is to guide you towards a more fulfilling and content way of life.

My office has moved to 2005 Ironwood Parkway Suite 120, Coeur d'Alene. I provide a non-judgmental space for older teens and adults to adjust to life's changes, find a way out of depression and/or anxious cycles, reprocess trauma, and more effectively cope in the world. I assist in clarifying, setting, and enforcing your boundaries. I provide an honest, empathic, and curious approach to who you are and who you seek to be in the world.

I provide a safe and nonjudgmental environment for my clients. I believe that my job as a therapist is to work in a partnership with clients in learning more about themselves, resolving past pain and then achieving personal happiness. I do not believe in forcing my lifestyle or goals on a client but rather helping them find out who they are, what goals they have for themselves and what positive and healthy ways they can achieve these goals. Personal growth and happiness is a goal that is unique to each individual. There is not just one way to achieve happiness.
