I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), working in the mental health and substance abuse fields for over 16 years. I have extensive experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I bring warmth and acceptance to the therapeutic relationship, coming alongside you wherever you are in your journey.

Since 1991 our therapists have provided therapy to a diverse population of clients. We use evidence-based therapies to treat a wide range of individual, couple, and family issues. Our fees are on a sliding scale ranging from $25-$85. Our therapy is brief, strengths-based, and solution-focused. When you call, we will conduct a brief phone intake and schedule your first appointment. Morning, afternoon, and evening sessions are available for your convenience. We welcome all clients regardless of race, gender, class, sexual orientation, ethnicity, age, ability, family form, relational status, religion or presenting problem.

The problems we struggle with seek to define and marginalize our identities as humans. The power that various problems seek to have in our lives can leave us feeling lost, helpless, and alone. Counseling can be a great place to begin to separate our identities from our struggles, where the problem does not get to define us as humans. My goal is to join you in this process and support the creation of a new identity, where the problem no longer gets to hold the mirror from which our own reflections are seen.

I like to look at the positives of change and how that makes a person feel better about themselves and their outlook on life, now and in the future. In my 20 plus years of experience as a therapist I have found that the relationship between the client and therapist is most important for this to occur and for real healing to begin. I feel that my calm and excepting demeanor is a good fit for people to begin this process. It should be noted that I do not do marriage or couples therapy as my colleagues are a better fit and I prefer individuals
