I currently work with children 3 years old to 11 years old, skip adolescence, and work with individual adults challenged by issues such as anxiety, depression, divorce adjustment and grief and loss. My original area of specialty was with pre-schoolers and young children up to 11 years old. I utilize techniques of play therapy, including sandbox therapy and mutual storytelling. My work with children, of course, includes parent guidance. Techniques with adults include: psychodynamic psychotherapy and mindfulness.

The treatment of complex histories of trauma, eating disorders, and attachment disruptions must include interventions that rewire the brain from the bottom up, somatic movement to reintegrate the body with the brain, and a felt sense of safety, in the context of relationship.
