Psychological Testing and Evaluation Therapists in Middlesex

Center for Network Therapy, Treatment Facility in Middlesex
“CNT is the first facility in NJ licensed to provide Ambulatory (outpatient) Detoxification for all substances of abuse - alcohol, benzodiazepines (Xanax, Klonipin, etc.), opiates (Oxycontin, Percocet, Fentanyl patches, heroin, methadone, kratom, etc.), anesthetics (ketamine, etc.) and Suboxone. Led by an ASAM Certified Addiction Psychiatrist, physicians, nurses and therapists monitor progress through the day. Therapy is provided to help our clients develop skills to cope with the stressors and triggers they will encounter in their daily lives. Our clients benefit from being given the ability to integrate these skills into their daily lives while they are living in their own environment, rather than being isolated from it. We also offer Partial Care (PHP) and Family Group. We partner with other providers to offer IOP and outpatient levels of care. Our access to the entire breadth of substance abuse services allows us to place the client in the most appropriate level of care and calibrate care to a client's individual needs. We are open 7 days a week. Chemical/Alcohol dependence without recovery has only negative outcomes. If you or a loved one is in withdrawal and need help, please call now.

“I have been treating individuals who are struggling with substance use and mental health disorders for 15 years. Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy we examine the connections between thoughts, feelings and behaviors. I encourage my clients to explore their beliefs and world view, identify maladaptive coping skills and build a healthy lifestyle. Together we explore how my clients adopted their current lifestyles, what needs they were attempting to fulfill, and how and what they would like to change. I offer a safe environment for my clients to build and explore healthy relationships via the group process as well as individual counseling.

“I treat chronic pain using Dr. John Sarno's work on Tension Myoneural Syndrome. TMS is due to unconscious repressed rage and conflicts developed during childhood. I deeply respect the human ability to surpass anger and strive to live life in a fuller capacity. I was trained under Dr. Arlene Feinblatt who had been the primary psychologist for Dr. Sarno since 1973 to do TMS treatment. I work alongside with a TMS physician, Dr. Paul Gwozdz at the Family Practice in Somerset, New Jersey. Together we help patients cope with chronic pain following Dr. Sarno's techniques.

“"When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us." -Helen Keller. Life and its transitions can leave you feeling ineffectual and trapped. However, these "growing pains" can open up doors to more fulfillment and happiness. My family therapy expertise and own experiences as a human being, have taught me that problems exist in context, and not in the individual. Hence, I look at the family, cultural, and interpersonal issues affecting you, your relationships, and self-perception, in order to facilitate growth and happiness.
