I am an experienced sex and relationship therapist who has been helping couples and individuals talk about their sexual concerns without embarrassment or shame and learn to work together to meet each other’s needs and effect their desired changes. I believe that having a good sex life adds life to people’s years as well as years to people’s life! It can act as the glue that bonds couples together and sets their relationship apart from all other relationships. After over 30 years in practice, I am still honored to help couples and individuals work to be the best that they can be, emotionally, intimately and sexually.

Being judgment-free and empathetic is inherent to my role as a clinician. I have worked with an extremely wide range of individuals. I specifically have experience working with individuals who are formerly incarcerated, individuals with sex offenses and/or sexually deviant behaviors, and adults struggling with daily stressors (including depression, anxiety, relationship and/or boundary concerns, mitigating shame, and grief). I additionally have experience working in a human rights organization focused on LGBTQIA+ and immigrant communities.

Life can be hard. I work with clients facing stress, adversity, loss of a loved one, confusion within a relationship, anger, communication breakdown or betrayal within a marriage, strains from the reality of parenting, confusion of life as a teen, feeling lost, facing divorce, balancing co-parenting, or "just" figuring out our place in the world. Gracious- we face a lot! Brene Brown has a wonderful quote that says "loving ourselves through the process of owning our stories is the bravest thing we will ever do." I agree but find that often, we aren't quite sure how to love ourselves. How do we own our story?

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC-S), licensed in both Ohio and Kentucky, specializing in the treatment of sexual dysfunction, sexual pain, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex PTSD, and mood disorders. I have a particular interest in the intersection of sexual dysfunction and trauma, and the impacts that has on a person’s well-being and relationships. Additionally, I provide couples counseling to couples struggling with desire discrepancy, communication issues, and the impacts of sexual dysfunction on the relationship.

I'm passionate about working with clients who want to improve their relationships and sex. Most often, I work with clients who want to overcome sexual challenges such as erectile dysfunction, low/mismatched libido, and sexual pain.
