I have experience in helping clients who are struggling with their mental health, addiction and or co-occurring disorders, and personal development. With my experience as both a therapist and a life coach I help people achieve their goals by incorporating interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy, talk therapy, holistic healing, motivational interviewing and client centered practices. I am dedicated to providing personalized sessions tailored specifically for each client and their needs.

When you feel stuck, out of sorts, things just aren't going well, some coaching or therapy might help you. You may feel anxious, sad, angry, annoyed-- perhaps at the bottom of your "stuckness". A special tool I share is EFT - Emotional Freedom Technique. This quickly and easily releases specific negative feelings. Is your “LIFE OUT OF WHACK, LET’S GET IT BACK ON TRACK!” Having already developed a diversified practice in individual, family, and group counseling, I was able to create a very successful & innovative modality, "Rote Therapy” as a therapeutic approach to psychotherapy, it is an eclectic methodology to Cognitive/Behavioral Therapy. I worked for Hospice in FL, for 7 years, an 868-bed nursing home in the Bronx, NY for over 9 years and, prior to that had been the head therapist at The Anxiety Control Center in Yonkers, NY for 5 years. My client population consists of families as well as individual adults, elderly, and adolescents.

Hello there! A. Kay and associates specialize in treatment of Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, OCD, Bipolar and various addictions. Having worked in the hospitals for many years, we utilize only evidence based treatment modalities (CBT, DBT, EMDR etc.). Unprocessed traumas can have a debilitating effect on one's life, we are using a state of the art EMDR technique (paired with 'Light Bar') to effectively treat past traumas. Couples/marital therapy is our other specialty; effective communication and clinical negotiations are skills that can be learned to save the marriage.
