I am a licensed clinical clinical social worker, with a Master of Science in Social Work from Trinity, College, Dublin. and a Doctorate in Applied Social Sciences obtained from Concordia University, Montreal. Canada. I have over 25 years of child and family work, working in disability, fostering, & child welfare & protection services. My areas of expertise include child, adolescent and family therapy. I have a particular skills in working with adoptive & foster parents and social workers caring for or managing a child /youth with a suspected neuro-disability but does not meet criteria for diagnosis.

I have been working in the human services field for over 15 years in a variety of settings; including private agencies, outpatient clinics, school departments, and hospital settings; while serving children, adolescents, and adults. In addition, I have extensive experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities.

You feel like you don't belong, constantly second guessing your decisions, and you're constantly comparing yourself to your friends, siblings, and parents. You find yourself zoning out, unable to focus, and procrastinating. You feel overwhelmed and want to do something about it.

I have been in private practice for over 15 years specializing in treating individuals from age 12 into older adulthood. I have extensive psychodynamic training but ulilize an eclectic intervention approach. I believe in direct and honest feedback which works well for most patients.

In my practice, I use a variety of treatment modalities such as individual, couple, group, and family therapy depending on individual needs. Teaching individuals how to manage and cope with symptoms of grief, marital problems, family conflict, divorce, parenting issues, and other relational problems are additional areas of specialty.

From these experiences has developed a style of therapy which is goal oriented, practical, and direct. I have experience working with children, adults, and families. I have extensive history in working with the families of individuals with disabilities.

At Stop Look and Listen Psychotherapy Offices, we work with adults of all ages, including elderly.
