Most therapy clients want relief from distress. Using 30 plus years of experience, I offer prompt assessment and intervention. My focus is on where you wish to go rather than your history. My clients may want to reach a goal, overcome a problem or be effective with relationship issues. They may be feeling lost or simply stuck and need help moving forward. Their distress may involve depression, anxiety, trauma or grief. My work shifts the attention from what is wrong with you to greater attention on your strengths, resources, goals and hopes. It is collaborative and optimistic. Our work together begins in the first session.

I understand that starting counseling is not easy. Chances are that you’ve tried it before, or that things currently feel like they’re too much to handle. You don’t have to do this alone. My goal is to help you reach YOUR goals. I have received training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) for anxiety, depression, and personality disorders from the Beck Institute. This is the highest training possible for CBT. For some, starting therapy either for the first time, or re-engaging in therapy, can feel daunting. Often times, unsure what to expect or how long they may need to be in therapy. My typical client sees me for Telehealth, self-pay sessions during their workday to seek better ways to grow, communicate & improve their relationships. Many of my clients are normal or higher functioning adults leading successful lives simply wanting to thrive in life! I also see clients struggling with depression, anxiety, ADHD and mood disorders. Telehealth couple's counseling is a unique niche as well. I've completed Level 3 Practicum Training In Gottman Method Couples Therapy. Couples may be in different locations as long as they are calling in from a state I'm licensed to work. I've worked with a variety of couples since '08.

Clinical Counseling and Consulting Services, PLLC (CCCS) is a counseling and consulting agency dedicated to clinician development and mental health treatment. Although CCCS specializes in treatment for sex offenders, individuals with problematic sexualized behavior, and victims of trauma, the agency also provides specialized outpatient therapy, employee assistance services, and services for individuals suffering from addiction. Parenting education classes are also available to assist parents with managing and coping with their children and/or adolescent behavioral deficits, addictions, and/or mental health disorder(s).

I primarily help clients who are struggling with self-love and have negative, harmful relationships with their bodies. I help clients develop a new and healthy relationship with their bodies. In session, I seek to learn more about thoughts and behaviors as well as the role that they play with their emotions.
