My name is Rasheda Randall. I am a psychotherapist with more than 25 years experience of working with children and young adults. I provide a safe and judgement-free therapeutic session. I am grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy and play therapy. I have been an educator of children and young adults for more than 25 years. I have a Bachelors’ Degree in Psychology from Bryn Mawr College and a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Arcadia University.

I have worked with persons throughout the lifespan. Most recently, I consulted at skilled nursing homes and assisted care facilities with a focus on illness and end of life challenges. I enjoy working with young adults who are just finding their way in this world and navigating new relationships and responsibilities. I accept clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, phobias, stress, identity development, assertiveness, anger management, and relationship challenges for those who are heterosexual, LGBTQ, caregivers, and parents.

I have expertise in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of mental health disorders and/or developmental disabilities. I provide cognitive-behavioral therapy to adolescents, adults and families. Regarding my approach to therapy, first and foremost I strive to built a positive and supportive relationship with my clients. I focus on each persons individual needs, meeting the client where they are in the present moment. My goal is to provide positive support and a safe space for an individual to share their thoughts, feelings and experiences.

I conduct court-ordered and private-pay evaluations. I am a well-known evaluator in the courts and legal system in the Lancaster area. Tweens and teens are undergoing a wondrous and uncertain time of discovery and growth. Parent/child conflicts become common and risky behaviors more prevalent. Navigating this territory may be a time of great uncertainty and tension. For 20 years I have been helping children and families work through issues such as depression and anxiety, friendship or school problems, communication and social troubles, on-line behavior and family conflict, sexuality and gender questions, and autism and learning differences. Whether there is a need to modify their current school program, or decide if they would benefit from a different learning setting altogether, I offer 35 years of experience evaluating and counseling elementary through college-age students. I strive to have students feel relaxed and successful during the process and convey results in user-friendly language to help parents best understand their child's learning attributes and how to provide for growth.
