Anger Management Therapists in Reston

Eric Weinstein, in Reston
“Want to change your life, but not spend your lifetime doing it? Not interested in conventional therapy, or gotten what you can out of it? That's what my practice is about: solving problems by quickly figuring out what keeps you from getting what you want out of life, "healing" the past when necessary, and changing limiting beliefs, troubling emotions, and unwanted behaviors. And there's no need for medication or a major time investment in re-visiting negative experiences. New: I can help you find more meaning in life with Tim Kelley's True Purpose coaching process.

“Have you tried traditional talk therapy before and it didn't help? Talk therapy is limited to your conscious thoughts, memories and motivations, but your subconscious has all kinds of desires and motivations of its own, and it routinely overrides the conscious thoughts and desires. Since the subconscious mind is also our "auto-pilot" it is wired to repeat thought/behavior patterns over and over again. If those thought/behavior patterns are negative, it feels like self sabotage, or that you're a "negative person".

“Most men face challenges and carry emotional and mental burdens that are nothing like what their father or grandfathers experienced. One of the obstacles that may keep you from asking for help is the mistaken notion that to be a "real man" you must be able to handle your problems on your own. Unfortunately, that kind of isolation actually makes it harder to find satisfaction with yourself, your relationships and your career. None of us were ever intended to face our issues or challenges alone. To seek counsel and support is a sure sign of wisdom, courage and strength.

Regina Collins, Counselor in Reston
“My primary objective is to foster an environment of warmth, compassion, and safety so I can help you reconnect with your inner resources, create new ones, and find the wellbeing and fulfillment in life that you deserve. My work flows from a solution-focused perspective to help you identify and reach your goals for change. This approach is combined with my understanding of the biological impact of trauma and its effects on an individual, as traumatic experiences can often result in sensitivity in the nervous system. This sensitivity can affect the ability to manage emotions and lead to anxiety, depression, relationship problems, or substance use.
