I am a second-year graduate level intern training as a dance/movement therapist at Sarah Lawrence College. I believe in a collaborative therapeutic approach, which is person-centered, trauma informed, and culturally competent. I utilize dance, movement, evidence-based counseling techniques, and other intersecting art forms to explore each individual’s mind-body connection, integrating social, emotional, cognitive, and physical wellbeing.

I'm a Latina therapist who specializes in working with multicultural clients and couples. I assist with navigating depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, a loud inner critic, PTSD, and cycles of generational trauma. With couples, I use the Gottman Method to increase emotional connection and resolve conflict. I will work hard to create a safe space where we can combine your unique abilities to adjust and heal with methods like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, CBT, inner critic, and inner child interventions. I work with individuals dealing with life challenges. Issues related to grief, illness, divorce, and its impact on children and the family. In addition, concurrent anxieties, and doubts and challenges coping with family loss and trauma. At times of stress, we will work to support your daily interactions and your inner thoughts to become easier. I have worked with people of all ages, helping them to find greater understanding and alleviate burdens in daily life. My goal is to support the issues you share with me and help you get back to regular life, outside of therapy.
