My name is Robyn Palmer-Davidson and I have over 16 years of experience working with diverse populations including children, teens, the elderly, families, and other vulnerable populations. Some of my experience and services aim to provide supportive services, culturally sound counseling, and healing to develop and improve your mental health wellness and needs. I have provided direct services to children, adolescents, and adults in outpatient, field, and residential settings. I have a broad range of experience working with clients across the life span from children to adults, including those in their 80's or older. I currently serve clients 16 or older. I enjoy working with a wide range of client ages and concerns including but not limited to; trauma, life transitions, grief & loss, relationship concerns and self-esteem issues. I believe that every person, regardless of diagnosis or past experiences, can lead purposeful and fulfilling lives with the proper support. We do the best with what we have, and too often life presents significant challenges we are forced to adapt to. Sometimes the patterns that were helpful to get through our childhood present major challenges later in life. Our symptoms do not make us abnormal and are not part of a fundamental flaw that needs fixing, they are a normal response to extraordinary circumstances. Problems do not exist within one person but are the result of a person’s context, family patterns, and learned behaviors.

I have 23 years experience working with the special needs population. Preventing bullying is my passion, so it is no wonder that, for the past twenty years as staff and student, I have advocated for many who were bullied and treated unfairly.
