I am a Certified EMDR Therapist and an EMDRIA Approved Consultant. I specialize in treating complex trauma, sexual trauma and the full spectrum of anxiety and stress disorders with EMDR. I am passionate about working with clients whom have been diagnosed with personality disorders, children or spouses of individuals whom have been diagnosed with personality disorders, victims of sexual abuse and survivors of incest abuse. Growth and healing is not just possible but attainable together. I specialize in working with LGBTQIA2S+ people. Many of my clients are sensitive people with extrasensory awarenesses and spiritual and/or religious practices. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress related challenges. These include disorders like Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, and Social Anxiety. I also work with Major and Persistent Depression as well as Borderline Personality Disorder, Avoidant and Dependent Personality Disorder. This includes experiencing these challenges due to trauma or PTSD. I believe that everyone has the capacity to find who they are. I consider myself a relational therapist that uses Gottman methods in therapy and Strategic Family Systems with couples and polycules.

My goal as a counselor is to accompany you in your journey, to help you find your strengths and provide tools to better cope with difficult life situations, the pandemic, transitions and grow from those experiences. I work with teens, adults and 65+ adults who deal with anxiety, depression, stress as well as with those who want to reach peak performance level.

I have over 25 years counseling experience as both a mental health and substance abuse counselor. Some of those years were as a Psychiatric Medic in the military, including the Gulf War. I am committed to counseling those who are struggling with life adversities, trials and tribulations who are suffering from mood disorders, anxiety, grief, stress, substance abuse, relationship issues, and issues concerning parents of LGBT children, as well as other life stressors or disorders. I counsel mostly adults from ages 18 to 64. I use the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a primary approach to conduct therapy.
