I have experience offering trauma-informed therapeutic services for survivors and alleged perpetrators. And I have offered counsel to many emerging adults struggling with fundamental childhood pain related to their upbringing and connected their experiences of racism, their ethnic origins, sexual orientation, gender identity, neurodivergence, and the many other multi-dimensional ways we can identify and be made to feel othered. As I understand trauma can be relational, as so should be healing. So where you may find value in intimate partner, familial, or group healing, I am happy to meet you and other willing participants there.

I am a seasoned psychologist, consultant, clinician who has been practicing in the DC 30 years. I'm returning to f/t self employment/ private practice after working f/t in the medical context at Walter Reed Bethesda, Kaiser, Nursing homes. Strengths as an agent of positive change include my personable, collaborative approach and our success in achieving agreed- upon desired results. I have extensive experience in the fields of behavioral medicine, trauma recovery, hypnosis, and clinical supervision and training. The variety of options are daunting, and while many, many people have been to or go to a therapist, it is not a topic easily discussed, so it can be hard to find a recommendation.
