Adolescents and Teens are complicated, and I am eager to assist. Teen groups are available as well as individualized treatment. Two people working together are always better than one. Hi there! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Texas. My focus areas include but are not limited to, helping individuals (ages 7+) who are experiencing grief and loss, life transitional issues, self-compassion, Anxiety, and Depression. I meet each and every client where they are and work with them to address their individual needs so that they can start living a more fulfilling life.

I help clients (children, teens, and women) become healthy, happy, responsible, motivated, and self-disciplined. I have over 25 years of experience working with children, teens, parents, and young adults. Having served as a teacher turned school counselor, I know firsthand how challenging these formative years can be for all involved (students, parents, and educators). I know that my client's success is based upon working collaboratively with all persons involved in his or her life. Together we will explore and create healthy and positive preferred futures.

I am an experienced marriage and family therapist and maintain a speciality as a Certified Eating Disorders Specialist (CEDS). I am licensed in both Texas and California. I worked for many years at major eating disorder facilities in the DFW area, providing education and support to individuals and families at various stages in the recovery journey. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore issues together with my clients. I see the role of therapist as a facilitator to join, collaborate, and achieve optimal therapeutic outcomes. I work from a systems perspective to address the individual as a whole.

The ideal client that I like to meet with is someone who desires help and wisdom for their situation. They are also someone who needs encouragement, direction and prayer. No matter what type of situation they are going through I am here to help and come along side of them. I understand that life can be very difficult and sometimes we find ourselves in situations that we never believed we would be in. It is this client whom I like to meet with so that we can work toward a better path for them.
