My clients typically have recent life stressors related to relationships, career exploration/burnout, recent adjustment to changes, difficulty coping, anxiety, and depression. They are typically looking for immediate solutions to overwhelming feelings that they no longer know how to handle. My solution focused approach has shown remission from depression in as little as 1 session and rescission from anxiety in as few as 1.5 sessions. I am noted to be in the 98th percentile of clinicians through clinical support metrics in an evidence-based program.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Georgia, Florida, and Ohio. My interest in behavioral health began several years before as a public school teacher. I began to see a growing need for behavioral health services in the students I taught year to year. After completing my MSW program, I began working in community health with a school based mental health program working with children, adolescents, and families. Why is it that we are so much harsher on ourselves than we are on others? Sometimes it’s as if our inner critic has a zero-tolerance policy for ourselves. Even when we’re hurting, our critic might jump in and say “You shouldn’t be feeling this way, suck it up.” It can be hard to manage our pain (or outright heal!) if our inner critic is ruthless and unrelenting.
