“Talking with a professional in an open, respectful atmosphere can help you gain insight and perspective about issues in your life that may seem overwhelming, depressing, or even hopeless. Sometimes these feelings are triggered by something unfortunate that has happened to you recently... such as the loss of a relationship, a crisis at work, a relocation, a traumatic experience, or the death of a loved one. Other times, the issues seem to be part of a bigger picture of unhappiness, anxiety, or failure that has been around for awhile leaving you frustrated and confused.

Steven C. Walker, Psychologist in Tampa
“Talking things out is good. Holding things in, is not. If you go to doctors for your body, then why wouldn't you go to a doctor for your mind? There is nothing wrong with working on your thoughts and emotions, in fact, if everyone worked on their inner world, we would have a completely different outer world. If you're ready to start working on your self, your relationships, or if you feel like you're not achieving your potential, then give me a call. “Life should be about happiness! So often we are a product of our environment while being held captive by society's standards, taboos, and the expectations of those around us. In order to progress and move forward and to obtain happiness, change needs to occur. Change starts with the self! We are programmed to blame and look at the external sources of influence, start within!
