I have extensive experience in counseling medical and legal professionals with addictions issues, as well as people from a variety of backgrounds. I am also familiar with the unique situations faced by those associated with the military, having raised a family as a military dependent spouse. As a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist and a Certified Partner Trauma Therapist. I provide individual sessions to address sexual addiction, betrayal trauma and offer sexual recovery groups for both the addict and their partner.

I am a registered Art Therapist and Licensed Mental Health Counselor who is currently working with individuals virtually in the state of Florida. I provide counseling and psychotherapy services in a safe, supportive environment offering research based treatment modalities supplemented with a variety of community resources and support services. I am available evenings and weekends. My office is centrally located in a bank building close to I-275 and is handicapped accessible. Your initial visit is primarily an information-gathering session. Hi there! Let me start by telling you a little bit about myself. I have been a licensed practicing clinician since 2010. I am trained and experienced in a specialized form of therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), but I also practice Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. I enjoy working with adolescents, college students, and adults with a wide range of challenges, such as Borderline Personality Disorder, depression (including postpartum), bipolar disorder, anxiety, eating disorders, substance abuse, self-harm, identity issues, and relationship issues. I also have experience working with patients in acute psychiatric crisis.

My "ideal" client is a child, pre-teen, teen, young adult, adult, couple, or family. Together we can work on any number of issues from communication to adjusting to new life circumstances; events from your past that are impacting your present; parenting children or teens, or individuating from parents; anxiety, depression and other matters of mood; relationships with family, friends and coworkers; co-dependency and self-advocacy; personal values and belief systems.... I believe that each and every one of us faces our own unique challenges and transitions throughout our lifetime. Sometimes these changes may become too much and it interferes with our daily lives and how we function and/or interact in our relationships. I specialize working with adults who are going through change in their life which may include loss or bereavement, loss of relationship or divorce, change in role (i.e., parenthood, retirement, caregiving, etc), significant change in health, career change, relocation, etc. I also support individuals that may experience depression, anxiety and trauma/PTSD.
