I am a licensed psychologist and a board certified school neuropsychologist. My practice, My Psychology Place, is devoted to counseling, psychotherapy, and psychological testing for children and adults. I provide neuropsychological evaluations to help identify attention problems, learning difficulties, memory and processing issues, as well as giftedness. I provide psychological and behavioral testing to identify autism, anxiety, depression, emotional and personality problems. Any testing battery is individualized to not only better identify the diagnosis but to provide concrete and evidence-based recommendations.

We are the Tampa Area's Premiere Children's Counseling Center. All of our counselors specialize in children and teens needs and concerns. Our office is set up to work specifically with children ages 0-18 to allow them to feel comfortable and relaxed. All of our counselors work directly with parents to help the entire family have a positive experience. Using sandtray, expressive arts, Internal Family Systems and Play Therapy, she explores mood and prevention patterns, collaborates on coping strategies and helps identify those sometimes elusive gifts that are part of every neurotype. With expansive certifications in Registered Play Therapy and Infant Mental Health, she works through methodologies that bridge family gaps and help “translate” the child’s language through play, art and sand tray work.

I have worked with children with significant behavioral concerns and their families for over 10 years. As a mother of children with significant behavioral concerns, I know how hard it can be to live with the judgment of others about your parenting and the internal struggle to help your child navigate their world successfully.
