My theoretical orientation is cognitive behavioral. My therapy style is goal oriented, solutions focused. I am a no-nonsense therapist who works to help my clients find solutions to their problems in the most effective, non-intrusive way possible. I also offer Christian/LDS counseling upon request.

I am a licensed counselor and marriage and family therapist with 34 years experience and am equally skilled in dealing with individuals and couples. The problems I deal with most commonly are anxiety, depression, panic attacks, bipolar disorder, individual growth, midlife issues, relationship problems, anger management, conflict negotiation skills, divorce adjustment, blended families and parenting issues. I provide Christian counseling if requested. When working with couples I use John Gottman's research based model for marriage counseling coupled with key concepts of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

I have been in private practice as a marriage and family therapist for 29 years. I have worked with a wide variety of issues: chemical dependency, codependency, abuse of all kinds, depression, family stress, and communication. I do individual, couple, family, and group therapy. I use an eclectic, client-centered approach, focusing on what individuals want to achieve in their therapy.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage & Family Therapy-Associate with a Ph.D. in Family Therapy, my expertise spans across a multitude of mental health realms, including substance abuse, adolescents, domestic violence, and educational systems. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, my goals are to create a safe and supportive environment in which all individuals can thrive, contributing to a healthier and happier family life. My name is Dr. Larry Watson and I am licensed by the State of Texas to provide mental health services. My clinical degree is the Masters of Science in Social Work. I also hold a PhD degree in public administration. I have practiced social work for over 25 years, working in nonprofit agencies, Universities and private practice.

Please note: I am not currently accepting BC/BS for marital therapy. Sometimes it feels really hard to communicate with your spouse. What used to be small problems start to feel too hard to fix. The bigger problems become issues that just seem easier to avoid altogether. Other times, it feels like you don’t enjoy the same activities anymore. Julie Elliott is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with over 30 years of experience. Specialties include depression, stress and anxiety management, addictions, marriage and family therapy, trauma and child abuse. She is also experienced in LGBTQ issues, grief and loss, codependency, communication problems, family of origin issues, hospice and end of life counseling, military and veterans' issues, post-traumatic stress, and women's issues. In addition, Julie has worked extensively with adolescents and their families in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

I work with children as young as 3, teens, adults, couples, and families.
