I humbly bring 21 years of expertise ranging from child protective services work, to various case management experiences, to working in several clinical venues including residential treatment and outpatient practices. Graduating from NYU’s Silver School of Social Work in 2005, my area of passion has been serving children/adolescents and their families within the clinical arena, but have an all-encompassing love for anyone who comes into my care who is wanting to engage in positive change and willing to do the work toward that end. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I have many years of clinical and private practice experience with children and adults. I counsel individuals, couples, families, and groups to promote optimum mental and emotional health. I enjoy helping individuals, couples, families, and groups develop a personal and/or developmental plan to implement positive influences in their life, while evaluating broad or specific issues such as: addictions, substance abuse, family dynamics, parenting, marital problems, stress management, self-esteem, aging, as well as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

I am a licensed mental health counselor with over 12 years of clinical experience in various settings including inpatient residential, therapeutic foster care, community outpatient, and community crisis response. I specialize in working with children and adolescents with anxiety, depression, ADHD, oppositional behaviors, as well as various other diagnoses. I also work with adults who struggle with depression, suicidal ideation, anxiety, relationship issues, and divorce recovery. I have been trained in EMDR, Trauma Focused CBT, and the Parenting with Love and Limits program.

I may use assessments and diagnoses but may also help with adjustment or not need to label. I assess the problem and offer researched solutions proven to work. I use a variety of therapies, including a person centered approach and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I also offer Equine and Canine Assisted therapy. I offer tele-therapy and remote video counseling.

My passion is helping people who struggle in their daily lives with anxiety, anger, depression and PTSD. These can all be overwhelming and can make someone feel left out. Often, they can make someone believe they are not capable of living a normal life. Many feelings and actions thrive from these struggles and some of the struggles can have serious consequences on your life and future.

The needs I hope to fulfill with a client are assisting them in finding who they are and how to work through their situations - whether they be for good or bad. If they need help in reaching their goals for the better, then I will walk their journey with them as they find their path.

Hello! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Titusville, Florida specializing in the treatment of children ages 2-16.
