Welcome! I am passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families find healing and growth. I aim to create a safe and non-judgmental space where you can comfortably explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Everyone has within them the capacity for self-healing and transformation. I work with individuals struggling with anxious thoughts, feelings of sadness and hopelessness, traumatic memories, and family conflicts. My approach is empathetic, creative, humorous, and collaborative. Therapy is a partnership; together, we will work towards your goals and understand your true self on a deeper level.

People often struggle with negative, self-defeating thoughts - often ones that they know are not completely true, yet nevertheless feel true. Many of my clients come to me because they want to make changes in their life - at work, school, or with family - but they feel trapped because of these negative thoughts. These thoughts can lead to excessive guilt, hopelessness, and indecision. As a therapist trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, I am committed to working together with you in helping you get unstuck.

Dr. DANIEL SCHWARZ is a Ph.D. Licensed Psychologist in private practice for over 30 years. He specializes in working with children who have learning challenges, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and other behavioral problems. He provides family therapy, parent training and couples therapy. Dr. Schwarz consults with schools and clients' physicians to help coordinate treatment. He is fluent in Spanish and is unique in his ability to be culturally sensitive to his clients needs. Dr. Schwarz provides psychological evaluations for Immigration Issues and Waivers. Dr. Schwarz has three experienced providers in his practice.

In partnership with me you will gain confidence and a capacity to achieve your goals. We will focus on gaining the freedom to love and be loved without fears and finding your life's purpose by developing goal oriented plans for success.

Lets face it, life happens and feeling "crazy," is often the result of the situations we find outselves in! In my practice I focus on treating individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and relationship difficulties, among other issues that impact the way we function in our daily lives. I approach treatment by understanding what events led to the "craziness" and work with individuals to adjust the ways in which they view and respond to situations contributing to the madness. As a result, clients often develop a view of themselves, others, and the future that is more functional.
