Kat Gillespie holds a Bachelor of Science in Art Therapy with a minor in Fine Arts from Lesley University and is currently a 2nd year master’s student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program with a specialization in Art Therapy at Lesley University. She has been in recovery since March 31st, 2018 and is an active member of the 12-step fellowship and believes that well-being begins with community. She is the illustrator of children’s book series dedicated to helping children grieve from parent’s lost from substance use disorder: “Mama Paca: My Heart Won’t Let You Go” and “Papa Paca: Kindhearted Warrior” by Sarah Cloud.

As a dedicated professional in the substance use disorder field, Kylie LaFantano, brings many years of invaluable experience and a personal understanding of addiction. With a unique journey intertwined with personal and familial struggles with substance use, she is driven by a profound passion for helping others navigate the path to recovery.

Toby is a graduate of the University of California-Santa Cruz and Lesley College, he is an experienced community outpatient therapist focusing on a broad spectrum of mental health issues. He works with treatment-resistant clients, including adolescents, individuals with substance use disorders and at-risk clients referred for court-mandated treatment.

As an experienced Licensed Mental Health Clinician, I provide counseling for adolescents and adults utilizing both brief and long term treatment methods. My Ideal client: 36 yo male, divorced, with two children. The patient was incarcerated 16 years, due to drug addiction/trafficking. He spent his early childhood living with his mother and father, who sexually abused him. They were also addicted to drugs due to their childhood experiences of being abused. The patient's parents also prostituted him in exchange for drugs for others. The patient turned to drugs to escape the pain, embarrassment, and overall trauma from his childhood. He now wants sobriety and to overcome his trauma, which includes flashbacks and negative self-image, self-hatred, and hatred of his parents.

Nicole obtained her Master’s in Social Work from Boston College and is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). Prior to joining Recovering Champions, she served as the Executive Director at Spectrum Health Systems in Westboro, MA, where she managed and oversaw the operations of eight inpatient substance abuse treatment programs in Massachusetts.

Alexis Baird received her BS in Hospitality Management at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst before becoming a nurse practitioner and receiving BS and MSN from Regis College in 2007. Alexis is experienced in family medicine, diabetes management, managing psychiatric illnesses across the lifespan, as well as extensive practice in geriatrics and substance abuse management. Alexis is currently studying to receive her PMHNP certification.

I work with all populations and provide home based therapy and outreach-- to the elderly-- and those diagnosed with complicated medical issues. My services are geared toward assessing one's baseline and identifying specific strengths, coping, limitations, vulnerabilities and grounding skills. I also incorporate the spiritual element of healing--which fosters personal growth for recovery.
