I am a passionate clinician who is dedicated to aiding clients persevere through life's challenges in a Client Centered, Solution Focused manner. I hold both a Bachelors and Masters degree in Social Work with a clinical focus. I graduated Summa Cum Laude when earning my Masters degree in 2011 from Barry University in Miami, FL. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker focused on mental health therapy and treating co-occuring disorders. I also utilize DBT, CBT, ACT, Narrative, REBT, and Motivational Interviewing as an eclectic mix tailoring each intervention towards my clients needs and goals.

I approach counseling from an integrative model, with a particular emphasis in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I believe counseling is highly relational, and once a strong therapeutic relationship is formed we identify your specific goals and work towards them.

Childhood, teen years and young adult years are full of confusion, exploration and growth. Dr. Leistikow has over 40 years of doing brief directed hypnosis in 12-16 sessions for trauma, PTSD, panic disorder, general anxiety and chronic depression and insomnia. As an MD, he is able to combine therapy with both prescription and holistic medicine using various vitamins, minerals and natural supplements. Andrea works collaboratively with clients to reach what they are looking for in their life and help them heal from past situations that have resulted in disruption in relationships and in other daily functions of living. Andrea is able to connect easily with clients and families of clients to improve relationships and reduce conflict by using solution focused communication.
