As a therapist that concentrates on Holistic remedies, I find that many of us are not able to handle all of the changes that may occur at one time, which may leave us feeling depressed and/or anxious. However, during this state of "change" is it actually depression and/or anxiety... or is it a result of what has or is occurring in our lives?

Throughout my 25 years in practice I have helped clients overcome stress, depression, anxiety, grief, and relationship difficulties. I provide a non-judgemental environment for clients to feel safe to discuss a range of thoughts and feelings as well as to explore possible options or solutions in their lives. In my work with individuals I focus on clients' existing strengths as the foundation for improved coping, communication and relationships of all types.

I have been working in this field for over twenty two years, and I truly enjoy helping people to improve their lives. I assess the needs of the individual, couple, and/or family, and work with them in a creative way to guide and support a person's committment for change. Everyone has different challenges in their life, and at times it is difficult to manage those transitions individually. I encourage clients to improve communication, rebuild healthy relationships, and increase a person's coping skills after they experienced a life changing event or transition.

Anxiety, depression, marital/work problems, children, losses and trauma unfortunately are part of life. Quite often you may delay seeking counseling due to a variety of reasons; shame, fear, time, cultural values. I graduated from University of Central Florida with her masters degree in social work in 2018. In April 2021, I received her license and is now a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings and I bring a history of hospital and school social work.
