Jeff Blair, Counselor in Yakima
“"After every storm the sun will smile; for every problem there is a solution, and the soul's indefeasible duty is to be of good cheer."-William Alger. I love this quote because of the word indefeasible. Indefeasible means, "That which cannot be defeated, revoked, or made void." Our soul's duty is to be of good cheer and this duty cannot be defeated.

“Discovery of your ideal self is life's journey! Many people experience problems with imbalance of thoughts, emotions and behavior that result in any number of problems in their life. Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) is scientifically proven to solve many of the distortions, imbalances or irrationalities people hold. What about underlying dynamics that can create maladaptive attachment relationships, or the meaning of our existence, purpose, love, suffering, beliefs, values, principles, and relationship conflict? Some people need to visit these underlying dynamics to work through issues while correcting cognitive, emotional and behavioral conflict. I treat adults, couples, teens, & children/families.

Isaac A Johnson, Marriage & Family Therapist in Yakima

Marriage & Family Therapist, MA, LMFT
“Most of us do what comes naturally; focusing our time and energy dealing with symptoms, such as anxiety, insomnia, or moodiness, while the root cause of our problems continue to worsen. For example, when we have a headache, we take Tylenol, not realizing that our unresolved stress is causing the pain. My focus in counseling is to help my clients identify the root causes of their problems and give them practical tools to effectively deal with these issues in healthy and productive ways. This approach may take a bit longer than symptom-management, but produces more positive, long-term results.
