I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, New York (LMHC)/Licensed Professional Counselor, Arkansas (LPC) and a Certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. I have a Master's in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling and a Master's in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, I taught for five years before joining the mental health profession. My experience as a mental health therapist involves working with clients of all ages, from preschool to adults, as well as with families, and couples.

I give personalized therapy in Northwest Arkansas. I will not shuffle you in and out of the office. You are more important than that. I listen & accept you as you are. You will be free from judgment. You may or may not know what brings you to therapy. We can talk to better understand. My approach is integrated. I have experience in a variety of approaches to understand people & problems. I consider your needs & select techniques best suited for you. I work closely with clients to help them connect deeply with themselves and their community. I see clients 18+ virtually who are residents of Arkansas. My mission is to develop healthy therapeutic relationships and build community through individual counseling and community yoga. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Registered Yoga Teacher, and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with 11+ years experience providing therapy, advocating for the oppressed, and collaborating with community partners. I also provide workshops for other professionals in many different settings.

My specialization is working with individuals and families who are in the process of life transitions. As a therapist, I have experience in helping clients with family conflicts, motivation, self-esteem and confidence, and career difficulties. Through Clinical Intervention, I have experience working with addictions and managing life altering situations.

I am continually humbled and honored to get to know each person that comes to meet with me for therapy. Each person is unique, worthy, and deserves to honor themselves by taking time to self reflect, heal, process, and challenge themselves in a safe, compassionate, and honest way. I have training in trauma recovery and have years of experience working with clients recovering from sexual, physical, emotional, and/or mental abuse. I offer therapy to couples at different stages in their relationship (pre-marital, marital, coparenting) as well as meet with families that want to work thru different familial difficulties.

Love and Connection in life should not be confusing. But there is always a risk when it comes to getting those two critical human relational needs. Many times relationships feel like a dance, and feeling lost with no road map. It can often turn into division or discomfort, but does it always have to be that way? Emotionally Focused Therapy is a proven, evidence-based method that enhances couples' ability to gain Love and Connection through safety and security. And I would love to be that resource, coach, advocate to help partners sustain longevity in their relationship without leading to isolation or further hurt.

Having been in practice over 40 years, I'm a seasoned therapist and have the tools and experience to resolve whatever is 'up' for you. I've found that 'talk therapy' is often not enough to resolve many difficulties, so I use a variety of effective approaches, uniquely adjusted to match each client's needs. In addition to talk therapy, I utilize Brainspotting; EMDR; Body Centered therapy; Meditative approaches and Hypnotherapy.

I specialize in three types of clients - couples hanging on by a thread, men who are less than thrilled at the idea of attending therapy, and individuals that live under a constant state of performance pressure. As someone who has lived and survived all three of these scenarios personally, I've got a ton of empathy and a box of tools ready for people motivated to achieve change.
