Serving the Capital Region, I provide Telehealth and in-person sessions. My clients and I work together to navigate through mental health challenges and transitions in life. I specialize in working with people with gender dysphoria and those in the process of transition. Furthermore, I help my clients navigate issues related to racial identity and minority experiences. I work with various relationship types and forms, non-monogamy included. I enjoy helping couples, partners and families achieve a greater sense of unity and satisfaction in their lives. Counseling can also be provided through Mandarin upon request.

My practice offers a safe and relaxing space to begin the psychotherapeutic journey. As a college professor and clinician for many years I offer a wide range of therapeutic approaches that go beyond talk therapy: such as mindfulness practice, mind/body awareness skills, and other psycho-educational practices. I think that good clinical treatment resides in the therapeutic relationship informed by the latest research on the brain and the gut and an overall multi-modal approach to the person(s) sitting across from me.

My clients may face difficulties such as anxiety, depression, conflicts within families or couples, and more while navigating through experiences such as identity exploration, migration, acculturation, parenting, divorce, and bereavement. However, with the right support and assistance, individuals can transform these difficulties into strengths, fulfillment, and a sense of connection with themselves and others.
